Salah (prayers) is the second pillar of Islam. Praying five times a day is obligatory upon every worshipper.
Muslims follow the practices (Hadiths) of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and during the prayers, verses from the Quran are recited. The five daily prayers consist of:
- Fajr (Dawn)
- Dhuhr (Noon)
- Asr (Afternoon)
- Maghrib (Sunset)
- Ishaa (Night)
