Daily Prayer

Important:

Parramatta Mosque has re-opened and is in operation in accordance with NSW Government regulations. 

Salah (prayers) is the second pillar of Islam. Praying five times a day is obligatory upon every worshipper.

Muslims follow the practices (Hadiths) of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and during the prayers, verses from the Quran are recited. The five daily prayers consist of:

  • Fajr (Dawn)
  • Dhuhr (Noon)
  • Asr (Afternoon)
  • Maghrib (Sunset)
  • Ishaa (Night)

Khutbah 1 - 12.50PM - 1:15PM

Khutbah2 - 1.40PM - 2:05PM

The Khutbah and Prayers combined of 25 minutes.
