Zakat

Zakat is the fourth pillar of Islam and it is a form of giving with its purpose to create a balance
of wealth in society and help those in need. It relates to giving a proportion of ones’ wealth to charity. Zakat is mandatory for those who are financially stable and it should be paid to the disadvantaged and those in need.
